The Mighty Quinn?

I met up with David at the boat early afternoon. It was raining here but I figured if it ended up raining there we could at least have lunch. That storm stayed south so we had time for goofing off, lunch, ride on the lake, and cruising some of the Chargin and Lagoons. Shortly after docking we could see storm coming in from the lake. Devin called to let me know another storm was coming from the west. I really did not like the clouds I saw hovering over the freeway. Thanks to Storm Chasers I am painfully aware of cloud formations that have more potential than I would like. The boys were worried for our safety because the tornado watch south of us. I made sure they knew what to do if the sirens sounded when Devin called me earlier. I feel bad for all the people who have grad parties. There were several going on at the marina.

After returing home, I made Jason something to eat and then clicked on the tv. Flipping through the guide I noticed "The Mighty Quinn". My first thought was of Brady, but I knew there was no documentary about him so I checked the info to find it was a mystery/drama. After Jason was done eating, he came into the room and plopped down beside me. Unhappy with 50 First Dates, he grabbed the remote and put up the guide eventhough I told him the channel was not going to change. He too found "The Mighty Quinn". Before he could get too excited, I had to tell him "It's not what you think." To which he let out a sigh of disappointment. Just in case anyone is out there willing to make a documentary about Brady Quinn, you will at least have an audience of two willing to view your work. ;)

the last two weeks

The last couple of weeks have been busy. We've had the boat and jet ski out. The lake hasn't been as calm as we would like or we would have taken the tube out as well. We also spent some time at the big pool.

Jason has British Soccer Camp all week. The two young Brits are very nice. J likes it and is considering it as a Spring sport.

I took two I.Q. tests last week within a couple of hours of each other. Somehow my score dropped from a 137 to 127 in those two hours. Some would blame it on television. Clearly I am not intelligent enough to argue - as the rate my I.Q. is declining has left me with too few brain cells to work with. Sad.

I tried the new Tostitos golden mini chips. They are very good. We slept on the boat Saturday which called for a massive amount of junk food to be purchased -chips, marshmallows, pop, and the like. David started a fire that lasted from 9:30 p.m. until we put it out at 1 a.m. This was his first successful fire ever. I was very proud.

I've spent some time calling family to sell D's tennis tickets, which he was supposed to do this time but obviously did not. I was able to sell them all and get a little extra as a donation.

I'm still waiting for my authorization to test. I'm growing impatient.

That's all for now.

Jasonism

Jason: "What did the ghost choke on?"

Me: "I don't know."

Jason: "An airball"
