An elderly gentleman approached me and another mom at the bus stop this morning with some index cards he had found while walking his dog. He was kind enough to give them to us so we might find the child they belonged to. From the look of them, they belong to one of the middle school kids. Laurie is going to send them with her daughter to the bus stop tomorrow.
It has always impressed me how a simple act of kindness can lead to another. It is a domino effect. I see it every day. It is what renews my faith that good people exist in the world, a world determined to prove otherwise.
